Services

An individual plan of care is tailored by the services below to ensure a speedy recovery.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a treatment that involves inserting thin needles into or near trigger points in muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other tissues to relieve pain and improve movement. The needles stimulate the muscles, causing them to contract or twitch, which can help with pain and range of motion. Dry needling is often used to treat pain and movement issues

Cupping

Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine where a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. The idea is to draw blood to or away from parts of your body. People get it for many reasons, such as pain and inflammation relief, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Electrical Stimulation

Electrical stimulation involves sending electrical currents through the skin and into muscles. This may help reduce pain, stimulate tissue healing, and strengthen muscles.Uses low-voltage electrical currents to relieve pain. TENS can treat conditions like osteoarthritis, tendinitis, and fibromyalgia. The current creates a circuit that travels along nerve fibers, generating heat and stimulating endorphins. This can help with pain, stiffness, and mobility

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a type of physical therapy that uses a practitioner's hands to treat patients, instead of machines. It involves skilled hand movements and passive joint and soft tissue movements to achieve a variety of goals, including: paint management, improved range of motion, reduced inflammation, tissue repair, and relaxation.

Kinesiotaping

Kinesiology tape, also known as k-tape or KT, is a thin, flexible, stretchy tape with an acrylic adhesive that's used to support muscles and joints and aid in muscle movement. It's designed to relieve pain, reduce inflammation and swelling, and improve circulation. The tape's elasticity allows it to move with the body, while also applying pressure to the tissues underneath to stabilize the injured area.

What is dry needling, and how does it work?

Dry needling is a technique used by physical therapists to relieve pain and tension by inserting thin needles into trigger points or tight bands of muscle. This stimulates the muscle and promotes blood flow, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility.

Does cupping therapy hurt, and what does it feel like?

Cupping therapy typically does not hurt. Patients often describe the sensation as a deep, pulling pressure. While the cups create suction on the skin, it should feel comfortable and relaxing. Some may experience mild soreness afterward, especially if bruising occurs.

Is manual therapy safe, and what conditions can it treat?

Yes, manual therapy is generally safe when performed by a trained professional. It can treat various conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint stiffness, muscle tightness, and post-injury rehabilitation, promoting relaxation and improved movement.

What is kinesiotaping, and how does it support muscle recovery?

Kinesiotaping involves applying elastic therapeutic tape to muscles and joints to provide support and stability without restricting movement. It helps reduce swelling, alleviate pain, and enhance circulation, promoting recovery in injured or overused muscles.

How many treatments will I need for each of these therapies?

The number of treatments varies by individual and condition. Some patients may experience relief after just a few sessions, while others might require a more extended treatment plan. Your therapist will assess your specific needs and develop a personalized plan.

Patient - Back

Payal is a miracle worker. I had limited mobility in my arm/shoulder and after one session, she restored me to much greater function. I could move my arm further that I’ve been able to in months after a bit of an injury from the gym. I also have had hip/IT band pain for years. Have tried massage, chiropractic, physical therapy (where they prescribed exercises). She had worked on these areas twice and I already have less pain and stiffness. She can look at you and nearly instantly know what needs to be worked on and how to help it. So thankful to have found Payal and sort of secretly hoping not too many other people do so that it doesn’t become difficult to get an appointment with her! 😁 Thanks for helping me feel so much better, Payal!

Patient - Musculoskeletal

Very grateful to have found Payal! As a massage therapist for over 15 years, it's important to me to be able to refer my clients to a competent Physcial Therapist when needed. The feedback has been 100% positive from each client. Even my own husband who has been reluctant to see anyone for a chronic shoulder issue finally agreed to see Payal. His discomfort decreased and his range of motion greatly increased after the first visit. He was astonished and very pleased. Not only does Payal have the tools and expertise to relieve musculoskeletal pain issues but also gives her patients personalized tips and exercise protocols that help them to establish healthier movement patterns going forward. Thanks Payal!

Patient - Arthritis

I Had a great experience here with getting rid of a really sharp groin pain due to arthritis buildup on my hip socket that I couldn’t even walk from the pain.. After my fist dry needle session I was able to recover my leg movement and after 3 sessions I was almost pain free with her diverse healing techniques. She has the solution for all of your joint and muscle pain.

Patient - Post Surgery

Payal has been treating me for different purposes over the last 4.5 years, including a hand that had lost all function due a surgery delay during the Covid period. I am happy to report the hand is fully functional due to her care. She has done massage therapy as well as dry needling for chronic pain with good results. I have great respect for her as a therapist as well as a friend. I highly recommend her.

Patient - Knee

We had a wonderful experience with Ms Payal's work for my mother and my mother-in-law physio issues. My mother-in-law had severe shoulder, lumbar, knee pain and we took treatment from Ms Payal and she helped with dry needle technique and massaging. My Mother-in-law felt lot of relief and Ms Payal taught her exercises also. Also, my Mother left foot was paining and I took her to Ms Payal for few sessions which helped reducing the pain. She suggested what we can do at home to reduce the stiffness in the foot, taught exercises and also gave us good suggestions about the footwear. My Mom said that she never experienced such good physiotherapy before where she was only getting massages from the machines. She felt relieved from pain with Ms. Payal Therapy. Ms. Payal is very knowledgeable, patient and a great listener. Thank you for your wonderful service Ms Payal.
